This is my Ronnie Gran who sadly passed away in August 2017 at the age of 90 years young. my Gran had Alzheimer’s and Dementia, I introduced doll therapy to the care home that my Gran was in and as you can see my Gran loved her baby doll. Gran was always a caring lady. Doll therapy does not work for everyone with Dementia but for many it helps ease anxiety and bring joy.

This is me on the NHQ show on watching myself on Hollyoaks and then having the surprise of my life,

I have created this mini documentary as part of my self directed project.

The point of this documentary is to try and raise awareness about NF and the difference it can have on people.

Channel M’s Jemma Gofton is joined by a very brave young lady. Kirsty Ashton lives with a very rare condition, but doesn’t let it hold her back when it comes to living life and fundraising.

Kirsty Ashton MBE BBC Radio Manchester interview.

Join Barbra Levin as she interviews author Kirsty Ashton, the author of “Living with Neurofibromatosis” who visited with NF Mid-Atlantic recently.

In 2009, Kirsty, was nominated to receive a Young Citizens Award by the Rotary Club of Didsbury and District to recognise her fundraising achievements.

Kirsty Ashton M.B.E. walking on Fleetwood road in Blackpool, she was mobbed by young people before hand and did not bother her and allowed all children to her there photo taken. The relay began and soon was having people running out to her. She had one amazing day and a great experience. Well Done Kirsty.
